Burnley Football Club is celebrating the Club’s promotion to the Premier League with the addition of a one-off £100 cash prize draw via the official online Clarets Lottery.
Tickets for the draw, which will run up until the Premier League season kicks off on Saturday the 16th of August, can only be purchased through the My Club Lottery e-system – the brainchild of former chairman Barry Kilby.
An App is available for both Apple and Android devices and you can even play the lottery online by registering and logging into www.myclublottery.co.uk – the official Clarets Lottery website.
You needn’t be a football fanatic to play the Clarets Lottery, not with cash prizes up for grabs, but if you are, the lottery also gives away ‘money-can’t-buy’ prizes, perfect for any die-hard Clarets fan.
In the past, the Clarets Lottery has given away replica shirts signed by the squad, matchday programmes signed by the manager Sean Dyche, matchday hospitality in the Club’s 1882 Lounge and even Clarets Player subscriptions.
As well as giving you the chance to win a £100 cash prize, Burnley Football Club and the Clarets Lottery are now providing their online lottery players with the opportunity to donate a percentage of the proceeds from the tickets they purchase to good causes.
Last January, Burnley Football Club and the Clarets Lottery donated all proceeds from the matchday draw against Sheffield Wednesday to the prostate scanner appeal for Burnley General Hospital. Just last week, with the help of the Club’s supporters, the new prostate scanner was presented to the hospital.
With so many Clarets fans earlier this year taking up the opportunity to show your support for the Prostate Cancer Scanner Appeal and Breast Cancer Research in our charity matchday draws, we once again encourage you to donate to these good causes with the help of the Clarets Lottery.
Not only supporting these great causes, Burnley Football Club want to help the local community by offering you the choice of selecting charities and organisations that serve Burnley and its surrounding areas, including; the Burnley Football Club Youth Development programme, the Neonatal Unit at Burnley General Hospital, Pendleside Hospice, the RSPCA Animal Centre in Altham and the Burnley branch of St. John Ambulance – all fabulous local causes in need of regular financial support.
Setting up your automatic donation is easy enough to do – just register and log in to your My Club Lottery account at www.myclublottery.co.uk, follow the link to the Your Details page and choose the good cause you wish to support from the drop-down menu provided. This can only be done through the website, and not through the My Club Lottery App.
