Burnley Football Club Academy has today donated kit to Blessed Trinity RC College for their Burnley Town U15s to use in the forthcoming season.
The Academy, which strives to maintain a good relationship with local schools football, presented the kit to team managers John Kelly and Marshall Holding, pupils Harvey Macadam, Kasom Shah and Billy Grogan as well as the chairman of Burnley schools football Neil Stubbs on the pitch at Turf Moor.
And the relationship with Burnley Town, who once boasted former Clarets star Jay Rodriguez and Huddersfield’s Oliver Norwood, is one to be proud of as Academy Manager Jason Blake explains.
Blake said: “The local town teams are an integral part of the local community football programme and we are delighted to offer any support we can to Neil, his staff and the players at Blessed Trinity RC College.
“We are very pleased to provide them with a playing kit for the coming season.
“It is important that we help support the football community whether it be for elite player development or for mixed ability participation.”
