Winger Scott Arfield insists that Burnley have the quality to take on any team in the league and come out on top.
The Clarets host third-placed Derby County this weekend in another big Turf Moor game.
And Arfield, who was on target last weekend as Sean Dyche’s side ended Nottingham Forest’s 14-game unbeaten league run, is fully focused on strengthening second spot against the Rams.
He said: “It is a massive game, but I think they all are now. The last game was and I think it will be similar game this week.
“But it’s all about what we do. We can’t control the uncontrollables and it’s up to us to do it.
“We’ve got the ability and confidence in the dressing room to believe we can get the three points, whoever we play.”
The flying Scotsman now has six goals for the season following his opening goal against Billy Davies’ side.
And Arfield believes the performance last weekend highlighted the quality in their squad, including the threat provided by in-form Welsh striker Sam Vokes, who now has eight in nine games.
He added: “Everything just clicked in to place, our passing was crisp and we scored quality goals.
“Obviously Sam’s second was a touch fortunate but I think he deserved it. The fans don’t see what Sam does in training,
“He’s different class and he and Danny up top are a pleasure to play with.
“I think Danny gets a lot of the plaudits, but I think Sam is beginning to get them too, which he really deserves!”
