Sean Dyche has paid tribute to Michael Duff after the Clarets defender made his 300th club appearance for the club.
Duff, currently in his testimonial year at Turf Moor, celebrated with a clean sheet in Saturday’s convincing 3-0 victory over Charlton.
Dyche said: “I shook Michael’s hand after the game and told him what a tremendous achievement that is.
“Never more so than in modern football, where players seem to dot around more because of the nature of the business.
“He has been a fantastic servant to the club and continues to be so. He looks after himself and has bought into the science side and the improvements we have tried to make and the fitness levels required.
“He is enjoying his football and I think it is showing in the performances.”
