Sean Dyche has urged Burnley to make history as they prepare for their top of the table clash with QPR at Turf Moor on Saturday.
Three points for the Clarets would equal their best ever start to a season.
And the Burnley boss insists victory would lay down another marker as his side look to stretch their lead at the top of the Championship to five points.
“To get another win would achieve that real mark in history,” said Dyche.
“Nowadays, there are so many games coming thick and fast, but it’s still a fair achievement for myself, my staff and the players.
“Of course, we want to take it further, but we’ll take each game as it comes and the next one is QPR.”
Burnley head into Saturday’s clash full of confidence and in blistering form, having won six straight league games and nine of their last 10 in all competitions.
But they face their toughest test yet against unbeaten Rangers, who are many pundits’ pre-season favourites for promotion straight back to the Premier League.
Harry Redknapp’s squad includes a host of internationals, including players with over 800 Premier League appearances behind them.
But Dyche insists that reputations will count for nothing when the two sides walk out onto into a charged atmosphere at Turf Moor.
He added: “It’s adds a bit of spice that it’s QPR. They’ve got a big squad and big names that everyone knows, as well as their manager.
“But when it comes to it, this is just another team and it’s 11 playing 11. That’s the way we have to look it at it.
“We’ve got a good, healthy group who are motivated to win and achieve, but we know we have to keep working hard to deliver the performances, certainly against a team like QPR.
“It’s a different challenge against the so-called market leaders who are also right up there, but one that we’re definitely ready to take on!”
Dyche, whose side remain unbeaten at home since March and have lost just once this season, added: “Life has been blown back into Turf Moor and the town and that’s great for me and the players to be a part of.
“It’s about getting behind us now and taking it forward.
“I know that it’s the 11 players that have to deliver, but it doesn’t half help if you’ve got fans behind you and we still need those fans, even if we aren’t getting the results.”
The Clarets currently find themselves in pole position in the Championship table on goal difference, thanks to some scintillating performances from the players and cheered on by the Clarets' faithful.
And with Sean Dyche's men looking to protect their SEVEN MONTH unbeaten home record, it promises to be a day to savour.
