Clarets co-chairman John Banaszkiewicz paid tribute to Sean Dyche following his Manager of the Month award.
The Clarets boss won the award at the second time of asking in September, after also begin nominated in August for the club’s stunning start to the season.
And Banaszkiewicz, speaking on behalf of the board, insisted Dyche was a deserving winner.
He said: “It’s wonderful that Sean has been rewarded for all the hard work he has put in this season.
“The team is playing entertaining football and winning games and I can’t praise them enough.
“It has been a fantastic effort from all the players and staff to get us into this position and Sean is a worthy winner of the award.
“He’s done an absolutely fantastic job and helped create a real buzz around the club at the moment that we all hope will continue.
“To achieve what he has, with the resources at his disposal, is a great achievement in a really competitive division and he deserves the recognition.”
