Clarets' Clean Sweep at monthly Sky Bet Awards
Sean Dyche has become the first manager in Burnley history to win back-to-back Manager of the Month gongs after landing the Sky Bet Championship award for October.
And in a stunning double coup for the Clarets, Striker Danny Ings has been named as the Sky Bet Championship Player of the Month.
The Clarets again dominated the Championship in October, winning all four league games, including a thrilling victory here at Turf Moor against previously unbeaten Queens Park Rangers, which also saw the club awarded the League Managers Association Performance of the week award.
Burnley also defeated Doncaster Rovers, Reading and Ipswich Town and conceded just one goal as they climbed to the top of the division.
Dyche, who won the award in September, beat Derby County boss Steve McClaren, Leicester City’s Nigel Pearson and Chris Powell of Charlton Athletic to the award.

Burnley co-Chairman John Banaszkiewicz said: “This is a double first for Burnley and well-deserved recognition of the work that both Sean and Danny have put in this season.
"From the Board of Directors, congratulations to them both and to the rest of the squad, who have given us a record-breaking start and lifted the spirits across the club and the town.
"Our form so far this year shows what can be achieved with a strong work ethic and dedication and long may it continue.”
Former Charlton Athletic manager Alan Curbishley, who chairs the Sky Bet Manager of the Month judging panel, said: “Sean deservedly wins this award for the second consecutive month.
“The 100% record in October rightly puts his side top of the Sky Bet Championship.”
Sky Sports’ Football League pundit Don Goodman added: “Sean fully deserves his second Sky Bet Manager of the Month award in succession.
“The 2-0 victory over QPR showed how far his side have come. They should now be considered serious title challengers.”
Ings, who capped a fine month by earning an England U21 call-up, scored three goals in October and beat off Middlesbrough’s Albert Adomah, Wigan defender Emerson Boyce and Nottingham Forest’s Henri Lansbury to the honour.
Burnley boss Dyche said: “Danny has a desire to learn and improve, and is making very good strides on his journey into developing into a fine young player.
“In my opinion, he is fully deserving of this award.”
Goodman added: “It's always nice to see players get rewards for their efforts.
“Danny Ings’ fantastic start to the season has seen him earn his first call up for England Under-21s and he has struck up a formidable partnership with Sam Vokes, and is sitting on nine goals for the season – which is a terrific effort so far.”
Congratulations to the Sean, Danny and all the players from everyone connected with Burnley Football Club.
