Team news

Boss Sean Dyche makes three changes to his starting line-up and includes new signing Dane Richards on the bench as the Clarets look to launch an FA Cup run with a third-round victory at Barnsley.

Brian Jensen takes over in goal with Dean Marney returning from injury and Keith Treacy starting following his match-winning mid-week performance at Sheffield Wednesday.

Chris McCann and Martin Paterson are ruled out with injury as they join Charlie Austin and Ben Mee on the absent list.

Richards starts his Burnley career as a substitute after receiving international clearance following his move from Vancouver Whitecaps and is joined on the bench by young striker Wes Fletcher.

Championship rivals Barnsley make one change with Marlon Harewood replacing seemingly Bolton-bound striker Craig Davies.

Burnley: Jensen, Trippier, Lafferty, Dufff, Shackaell, Stock, Marney, Treacy, Wallace, Ings, Vokes. Subs: Stanislas, Edgar, O’Neill, Bartley, Richards, Fletcher, Grant.

Barnsley: Steele, Dawson, Cranie, McNulty, Perkins, Golbourne, Kennedy, O’Brien, Stones, Harewood, Dagnall. Subs: Foster, Etuhu, Lazarus, Hassell, Rose, Cywka, Alnwick.
