Sean Dyche insists he will not be looking to rotate his squad in tonight’s Lancashire derby against Preston North End.
The Clarets will be forced into one change for the Capital One Cup second round tie following Saturday’s sending off of goalkeeper Tom Heaton.
Alex Cisak is set to deputise and make his full debut at Turf Moor (7.45pm KO).
But Clarets boss Dyche has warned North End he is set to roll his big guns with a potentially lucrative third round tie the reward.
He said: “I understand the notion of resting players and giving chances to others.
“Personally speaking, we have just come out of pre-season and I don’t think players should need rest this early in the season.
“I want to form a team that wins, it’s as simple as that. I want that ground into the players and they are delivering it, so I will be picking a team that can win.”
The Clarets will be looking to bounce back after losing their unbeaten start to the season in Saturday’s controversial loss at Brighton.
But Dyche insists the League One visitors, who drew 4-4 in a remarkable game against Coventry City on Sunday, will not be underestimated.
He added: “It’s a good game for the players and fans alike. Both parties will want to go through, which makes for a good tie.
“There is no such thing as a banana skin in my view. I know the terminology exits, but people said that about Yeovil and I think it’s a disrespectful term to other teams.
“You have to go about your business in the right manner and if you look at Preston’s players, it’s fair to say they have one of the better groups of players in that division.
“They want to go up and I am sure they will want to get through in the cup, so make no mistake we will be ready.”
