Shirt Auction: Bids Closed!

29 October 2012

Final figures raised for sale of authentic match shirt

On Saturday, 20th October Burnley FC celebrated the diversity of the town by wearing first team shirts emblazoned with the Celebrating Diversity logo.

These shirts, worn by the players during the victory over Blackpool, went up for auction with all proceeds going to local charity FEW (Furniture for Education Worldwide). FEW is a charity dedicated to ensuring that children all around the world have the basics to be able to learn.

Tables, chairs and other school equipment are regularly sent over to developing countries where it is needed by thousands of children…but shipping this equipment is an expensive exercise and this is where you can help contribute.
