Defender's Volley Helps Canada To Brink Of 'Qualifying'
David Edgar was on target for Canada on Friday with the 3-0 victory over Cuba that takes his country a step closer to the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
Clarets defender Edgar struck with a classy volley to round off a good night’s work for the Canadian’s in front of their home crowd in Toronto.
The result means that Canada now need just one point from their final CONCACAF group game in Honduras on Tuesday to make it to the final round of qualifying.
