Venue confirmed for FA Youth Cup tieBurnley’s young players will get the chance to grace Old Trafford when they play their FA Youth Cup third-round tie against Manchester United.
It has been confirmed that the Clarets will face the ten-times winners on their home ground on Friday, 7 December (kick-off 7pm).
Burnley reached the semi-finals of the competition for the first time since 1978 last season after knocking out top-flight opposition in the shape of West Bromwich Albion and Fulham, while United also went out in the last four.
Admission prices are as follows: £3 adults and £1 concessions (free to BFC season ticket holders and members).
The Clarets’ trip to Old Trafford means their scheduled Youth Alliance fixture against Bury scheduled for the following day has been re-arranged for Saturday, December 15 (kick-off 11am).
The game against the Shakers has also been moved to Gawthorpe, but will remain as Bury’s ‘home’ game.
