Joseph Mills returns for the Clarets as he starts his first game under Sean Dyche.

Mills replaces the injured Danny Lafferty at left-back, with Michael Duff, Chris MCann also both returning following suspension.

David Edgar and Kevin Long make way as Burnley look for a first win in five games after three draws in their last four outings.

Birmingham include former Clarets’ skipper Steven Caldwell but Wembley hero Wade Elliott starts on the bench as Lee Clark makes six changes to his side.

Top scorer Marlon King is among those sidelined and experienced striker Peter Lovenkrands also pulled out just before kick-off.
