Answers to frequently asked questions regarding ticketing issues. Please contact ticketoffice@burnleyfc.com if your query is not answered below.
1. I am a Burnley supporter but I do not have a Season Ticket. Will I be able to pay for admission to a Championship match on the turnstile?
Yes, for most games we do anticipate tickets to be available at cash turnstiles. These will usually be for the James Hargreaves Lower Tier, and Jimmy McIlroy Lower Tier, depending on availability. It is worth noting that there are no concessionary prices are available at turnstiles - all prices are £26. Concessions are available at the ticket office.
2. How can I buy a ticket for the match in advance of the fixture?
Home match tickets are available from the ticket office or over the phone from four weeks before the fixture, with people who have joined the membership scheme getting a two week priority. Home tickets will be available using the online ticketing service when they go on general sale two weeks before the match. For more information on dates, please click HERE
3. How do I apply to be in the membership scheme and what does it cost?
The membership scheme, available at the ticket office, costs £20 per person for the relevant season. Members receive a £3 discount (£2 for juvenile tickets) off a single ticket they purchase per league game. This means the member can save money if they use their membership enough times over the course of the season. NB: Members can now book tickets for games online at discounted prices.
4. Suppose I am neither a season ticket holder, nor in the membership scheme?
Subject to availability, tickets will go on general sale 2 weeks before the fixture. For bigger games, we may need to implement different procedures, so having a membership is the best way of getting tickets.
5. If I join the membership scheme will I be able to reserve the same seat for all those matches that I wish to attend?
Tickets are allocated on a first come, first served basis, so we cannot guarantee you a specific seat for every game. As long as you apply early enough, you should be able to specify where about you would like to sit. NB: Members can now book tickets for games online at discounted prices.
6. If I don't want to use my membership for a match, can I buy a ticket for my friend?
Yes, but you will be held responsible for their behaviour at the game. They must also be in the same age category as you.
7. I am a Season Ticket Holder/member, and I wish to go to an away game. How do I get a ticket?
We accept applications from season ticket holders for away matches four weeks prior to the fixture, as advised on the relevant game under the 'Forthcoming Match and Ticket Prices' section. Away tickets go on sale exclusively to season ticket holders and members for a week before going on general sale. Details on how to submit a postal application can be found on the 2010/11 Away Match Ticket Policy page, or HERE
8. I am neither a Season Ticket Holder nor a member, and I wish to go to an away game. How do I get a ticket?
Three weeks prior to an away fixture, we will accept applications from all fans. Depending on availability, these may be later made available via the online ticketing system. In the final week leading up to the fixture, away tickets may be available for purchase over the counter and by phone.
9. How do I get tickets near my friends for away games?
The only way to get tickets next to your friends is to apply as a group. We would need one application with all the applicants' details in.
10. Do I need 'loyalty points' for any purchases?
At present, there is no need for us to implement any restrictions on purchasing tickets by loyalty point totals. It is worth noting that the loyalty points system is still operational and tickets bought this season do count towards overall points totals on each clarets number. There may be a need to re-introduce this method of priority in the event of a high profile game.
11. How can I find out how many 'loyalty points' I have?
The ticket office will be able to advise you if you give them your clarets number which you will find inside your season ticket book. Alternatively, click HERE to check online. (As a guide we have been giving 350 points a season for the last 7 seasons plus 10 points for each individual match ticket purchased).
12. Are there concessionary prices available at the turnstiles on the day of a game?
No. All concessions tickets must be purchased from either the Turf Moor ticket office, or for visiting supporters in advance via their own sales policy.
