Dare To Dream: Season Tickets 2009/10
Fifty years ago, the Clarets dared to dream … and landed the ultimate prize.
Now, half a century on from the 1960 glorious First Division title success, we are set to embark on a year-long celebration of one of our greatest achievements.
Owen Coyle's class of 2009 will proudly wear a replica kit from that momentous season throughout the next campaign.
And a new club crest will even represent that golden era when Burnley Football Club ruled English football.
In the modern era 2009/10 could yet be a season to remember, as the club battles for a place in the Premier League.
But we know we can't dare to dream without your support.
A season ticket package is the perfect way to see all the action at Turf Moor next season at the lowest possible price.
It GUARANTEES every league game, offers PRIORITY on all ticket games and provides huge DISCOUNTS at the club shop.
Go on … Dare To Dream …

Burnley FC Season Tickets 2009/10
For the second year in succession the club is to freeze the price of all adult season tickets for the 2009/10 season, with extended reductions for juniors.
These include the introduction of a new £30 ticket for 8-11 year-olds, complementing FREE tickets for U8s and a £60 ticket for 12-15s and providing a sensible graduated pricing scheme to enable parents to introduce their children to the club.
The 'Second Child Free' offer in the Family Stand will also continue in 2009/10.
And with all U16s encouraged to become members of the Junior Clarets, there is a new discounted matchday admission price of £7 anywhere in the ground for members*.
All other matchday admission prices are frozen.
For 2009/10, children's season ticket pricing is as follows:
Under 8: FREE to Junior Clarets in the Family Stand*
8-11: £30 for Junior Clarets in the Family Stand*
12-15: £60 for Junior Clarets in the Family Stand*
16-18 & NUS: £75 in the Jimmy McIlroy Lower Tier
*If the season ticket holder is registered with the Junior Clarets and has a seat in the Family Stand.
The Chairman's Premier League Pledge, which remains valid for all season tickets bought for the 2008/09 season, will not be continued into a third season. The club believes such funds would be better utilised in strengthening our first team squad and supporting Youth Development, which has been so successful in recent years and which is our investment in the future of the club.
Finally, with Burnley Football Club still fighting to secure a play off place, supporters are respectfully reminded that following the Early Bird renewal deadline (see below), the club reserves the right to suspend season ticket sales pending the outcome of the season - and to increase prices for new season ticket purchases if promotion to the Premier League should be achieved.
This means the best way of ensuring YOUR seat at the lowest possible cost for the 2009/10 season is to purchase during the Early Bird discount period.
We are delighted to announce that for two days only, on Monday May 11 and Tuesday May 12, season tickets for next season are back on sale at Early Bird prices.
This is STRICTLY your last chance to buy a season ticket at discounted prices for what we all hope will be a Premier League campaign.
Season ticket packs, along with Premium Credit forms, are now also available from front of house operations.

The Timetable

Early bird deadline: Tue, May 12 (deadline extension).
Non-renewed season ticket seats released: Fri, 1st May.
Seat swaps: Tue 5th May - Sat 9th May
James Hargreaves Stand
Due to the deterioration of the David Fishwick (Cricket Field) Stand, and the possibility that we will need to do some work on the area, or start work on the new 'auditorium-style stand', we cannot guarantee this stand will be available to visiting supporters for the whole of the 2009/10 season. After consultation with the police and our ground safety advisors, the best alternative location for these supporters is considered to be a section of the James Hargreaves Stand. Season tickets in this area will therefore only be sold on the basis that supporters may need to vacate this area for all or part of the season. In the event that supporters are asked to move, the club will upgrade season tickets for this area.
Jimmy McIlroy Upper Tier
Supporters are reminded that new season tickets and match day tickets are sold in this area on a 1+1 basis only (ie: adults must be accompanied by a junior supporter).
Age Concessions
To qualify for an age-related concession, age at the beginning of the season will determine whether the supporter qualifies for the concession or not (eg: to qualify for a 16-18 concession, the supporter must be 18 or under on 8th August 2009). In order to qualify for any concessionary price, the supporter must provide proof of age in person at the ticket office.
Senior Citizen Age Limit
Senior Citizens who already receive an age-related discounted season ticket (ie: adult, senior citizen) will continue to receive that concession. However to fall in line with the Government's harmonisation of the retirement age, supporters must be 65 or older on 1st August, 2009 to qualify for the senior citizens discount for the first time.
Disabled Supporters' Prices
In line with advice from the Football League, disabled supporters will pay the full applicable price for their season ticket (ie: Adult, senior citizen, 16-18 or U16), but supporters who need a helper will receive an additional season ticket for the helper free of charge. Each case will be assessed individually and you may be asked to provide proof that you need a helper.
Free Season Tickets For U8's and reduced prices for U12's and U16's
These tickets are only available in the Family Stand (Jimmy McIlroy Upper Tier), are only sold in conjunction with a full adult season ticket and are not upgradeable or transferable on a match by match basis. The child must be a registered as a Junior Claret and proof of age must be provided at the ticket office.
Reduced Price 16-18 Season Tickets
These tickets are only available in the Jimmy McIlroy Stand Lower Tier and are not upgradeable or transferable on a match by match basis. Young supporters who wish to take advantage of these prices must obtain a free membership by taking in a passport-sized photograph and proof of age to the ticket office.
Second Child Free Offer
These tickets are only available in the Family Stand and are not available with any other offer (eg: the U8's free ticket offer as detailed above). They are not transferable or upgradeable on a match by match basis. Both children must be under 16 on 8th August, 2009. In the event the children fall into different price categories the cheaper price will be discounted. (Only one free child ticket per family group under this offer). We define a family group as 'including at least one under 16 buying tickets for adjoining seats and paying in one transaction from one bank account'. All children in the group must be registered as Junior Clarets and proof of age must be provided on request.
The Premier League Pledge
Supporters are reminded that the Chairman's Pledge was renewed for 2008/09 full season ticket holders, and, if we are promoted, existing full season ticket holders who have renewed their tickets for 2009/10 in the Early Bird period are guaranteed their seats for the Premier League season. Supporters currently holding a season ticket will be asked to purchase their season ticket for the following season to guarantee their seat and enable the club to continue trading throughout the closed season. All season ticket holders who then qualify for a free season ticket under the pledge will receive a full refund for monies paid, prior to the start of the Premier League campaign. However, the board does not propose to continue the pledge for season ticket purchases for the 2009/10 season. The board believes that these funds would be better utilised in strengthening our first team squad and supporting the youth development scheme, which has been so successful in recent years and which is our investment in the future of the club.
Singing Section
Tickets will be sold for blocks two and three of the James Hargreaves Stand Upper Tier. Supporters currently holding tickets for these sections who wish to move elsewhere can do so by contacting the ticket office before 1st May, 2009. We will happily look to accommodate those wishing to move after this date, but supporters should note that all seats will then go on general sale. The club is forced to adhere to Football League regulations, which state that fans cannot stand in seated areas. The club has no option but to enforce these rules, meaning that persistent standing can lead to ejection.

Payment by credit and debit card
As we have noted for the past couple of seasons, the issue of payment by credit and debit card for season tickets is an important one for us. If you pay by credit card or certain types of debit card, we either have to pay an insurance premium (on top of the normal card margin) to ensure that we receive the money immediately, or accept payment from the card management company in stages throughout the season.
This has a massive impact on the finances of the club, so we ask that you do not pay by credit or visa debit card.
We will not stop supporters paying this way for season tickets; all we ask is that, if possible, you choose another mode of payment. You will see that we have a three-month payment scheme and a 10-month payment scheme administered by Premium Credit. Please consider these as alternatives, or pay by cash or cheque if you are able to.
If, after you have read the above, you still feel you want to pay by credit or debit card, then please do so as Burnley Football Club values your continued support and looks forward to welcoming you to Turf Moor again next season. However, you should be aware that we do need to charge for payment by credit card and certain debit cards to compensate for the costs we incur.
The charges for 2009/10 will be:
Visa Debit and Credit cards and Mastercard Credit Cards
• Adult tickets - £15 per season ticket
• Concessions - £10 per season ticket
• Under 16 - no charge
• Maestro Debit Cards (inc Switch and Solo cards), cheques and cash - no charge
