Burnley completed the loan signing of Jack Cork until the end of the season in January 2010.

A versatile player, who can play across the back and also in midfield, Cork has been at Chelsea since the age of nine, where he has captained the club's youth team,

The 20 year-old is still waiting for his first taste of Premier League action, but has gained plenty of experience, amassing over 100 matches during his various loan spells.

In August 2009, he joined Coventry on loan for four months, where he was a big hit with the Sky Blues' fans.

Son of ex-Wimbledon striker Alan, Cork Spent the first half of the 2008/09 season with Southampton, where he made 25 appearances, before joining Watford for the remainder of the campaign

The promising England under-21 international spent the 2007/08 season on loan at Scunthorpe, where he won several Player of the Year awards after making 35 appearances for the Glanford Park club.

Prior to that he enjoyed two loan stints with Bournemouth where he gained valuable match experience.

Cork made his first appearance for the Chelsea first team in their 2007 pre-season tour of America and that summer also captained England at their European under-19 Championship.
