Clarets' youngster Shay McCartan has been called up by Northern Ireland under-17s for a double-header against Slovakia next week.

The striker will link up with the squad next Monday for the two games in Slovakia on Tuesday 7^th September and Thursday 9^th September.

McCartan joined Burnley's youth set-up in the summer but is still waiting for international clearance to make his first appearance in a competitive match.
