New boy Ross Wallace hopes he has given the Clarets' fans an exciting taste of things to come after scoring on his first appearance in a Burnley shirt.
The former Preston winger capped an impressive 45-minute run-out with a clinically taken goal to set up a 3-0 friendly win at Bury.

Afterwards the little Scot praised the reception he was given by an impressive following of 1,815 from Turf Moor at what he hopes is the beginning of a fruitful relationship.
"It was nice to get my first goal in the first game and hopefully there will be more to come," said Wallace.
"I've had a good week's training with the lads. They have been superb with me and we've started off quite well, so hopefully when the season comes we will be in good shape.
"The manager said there would be 45 minutes for most people so to go out and give it everything you've got to build your fitness up.
"It was a warm day and the pitch was a bit sticky but it was good to get out there and pop the ball around and get the first game out of the way.
"The lads looked good in shape, which can only be good for the season coming up."
Steven Thompson and Chris Eagles added to Wallace's 33rd-minute goal as Brian Laws' men enjoyed an impressive first run-out with every senior player bar Tyrone Mears - who will hopefully be fit following a hamstring strain to figure at Oldham on Monday night - getting a piece of the action.
