Burnley Football Club is receiving a large number of telephone calls following reports in a local newspaper that the Barclays Premier League game against Stoke City takes place tonight (Tuesday).

We would like to reassure supporters that this game kicks off at 7.45pm on Wednesday.

This was publicised at the time of the fixture change, on February 25, when Stoke requested the game be put back 24 hours due to their involvement in the FA Cup.
