Injury Rules Fletcher Out Of Scots' Clash
Steven Fletcher has been ruled out of Scotland's mid-week friendly with the Czech Republic after breaking a bone in his hand in training.
The Clarets' leading scorer, who has hit the target 11 times this season, is returning to Turf Moor after picking up the injury on Monday morning at the Scots' training base.
But Burnley manager Brian Laws is hopeful Fletcher will be fit for the Clarets' trip to Arsenal on Saturday.
Laws said: "He has been for an X-ray and is coming back to us.
"We need to get it checked out again but we feel confident that he will be available to play at the weekend with some sort of cast."
