The Clarets' youth team saw their long unbeaten run in the Youth Alliance ended by Port Vale.

Burnley conceded three times in the second half to suffer their first league defeat in ten games.

Vale went ahead after an hour and then took a 2-0 lead from the penalty spot after a foul by Curtis Woods.

Burnley had their chances but couldn't take them and conceded again with five minutes to go following a defensive mix-up.
