The Clarets' youth team beat Blackpool 3-0 in a friendly on Saturday morning.
With a blank on their fixture list the Clarets fitted in a welcome trip to the seaside.
And goals from Joe McKee, Ross Wilson and Liam Newman gave Terry Pashley's young charges a comfortable win.
McKee (right) struck first as he again scored direct from a free-kick to give Burnley a half-time lead.
Wilson then made it 2-0 after 53 minutes when he converted a cross from Dominic Knowles.
And Newman, one of three rolling substitutes, completed the scoring ten minutes later.
Newman ran onto a through-ball from recent arrival Medi Laazar to round the Blackpool keeper and slot home.
Belgian Laazar made his Clarets' bow and there was also a successful first appearance of the season for Dean Overson following his recovery from a broken ankle.
Burnley: MacDonald, Overson, McEneaney, Woods, Edwards, Lynch, J Taylor, McKee, Wilson, Jackson, T Taylor. Subs used: Newman, Knowles, Laazar.
