Jack Cork is hoping his career can step up a gear after sealing a loan move from Chelsea until the end of the season.

The highly-rated 20 year-old has yet to taste top-flight action with the Blues, but after playing over 100 games during various loan spells with league clubs, the midfielder is now intent on making his mark on the Premier League.
"I'm really excited about this opportunity, I've spent the last three seasons in the Championship which was a great experience that I can hopefully use now to push on in the Premier League and make a good impression on people," said Cork.
"I think it's a big step for me personally because it's my first opportunity to be on loan at a Premiership club, but if I do well hopefully it will work well in the long run for me.
"This is a massive step for me to try and make it now, but you don't want to get too excited or complacent about it.
"I thought it would be a good opportunity to do something new and I'm looking forward to the challenge.
"It's quite hard to settle in at first with lots of new people, but now I have been on a few loans it makes it easier because I usually end up seeing someone I know.
"I know Martin Paterson from my year at Scunthorpe and Danny Fox from Coventry which makes it easier to settle in. I enjoy going out on loan though with all the different experiences.
"I just want to try and get my head down, train well, play well and use the opportunity I've been given."

Cork was an interested spectator on Saturday as Burnley took on his parent club Chelsea at Turf Moor, unfortunate to come away with no points following a 2-1 defeat.
The England under-21 international was impressed with how Brian Laws' side acquitted themselves against the leaders and is confident the Clarets have the credentials to climb out of the bottom three.
"I thought Burnley did really well on Saturday and it could have gone either way. They played some really good football at times and were unlucky to lose," added Cork.
"The way they have been playing, especially at home, there is no reason why they can't stay in this league.
"I want to help the team stay up in this league and I've got full confidence that they can.
"I've been hearing how good the fans are and there are some great players here.
"It's hard at Chelsea because of the standard of the players there is a lot of pressure for the team to win.
"It makes it quite limited for the youngsters coming through the academy because there is always some money to buy people who are ready now, rather than helping someone come through.
"It is quite frustrating because there are a lot of good young players waiting for a chance.
"Hopefully the loan market can help bring through another talented crop of youngsters.
"Football though is all about opportunities and hopefully I can take this one."
