Burnley Football Club have been asked to issue the following statement on behalf of the Potts family:

'The family of the late Margaret Potts wish to thank the Chairman, Directors, staff and fans of Burnley Football Club for their overwhelming support and kind messages received during our sad loss.

'Mum was still very much in touch with the club, ex-players and events and only recently was so proud to officially open the Harry Potts lounge which is a wonderful tribute to dad.

'Once again it has emphasised the warmth of this family club and how privileged we have been to be part of their proud history.'
