Defender David Edgar can't wait to hit the ground running after completing his move from Newcastle United.
The 22-year old signed a four-year deal yesterday (Wednesday) when his contract with the Magpies expired.

Manager Owen Coyle is a firm admirer of the Canadian, whom he tried to sign on loan at two attempts last season.
And the 6'2" centre-back admitted he couldn't be happier to finally seal his transfer to Turf Moor.
"It's a brilliant move for me, I followed Burnley all last season when I first heard they were interested in taking me on loan," Edgar told ClaretsWorld.
"I watched them right through to the Championship Play-Off Final at Wembley, I love their style of play and how enthusiastic the manager is.
"Luckily enough the club still wanted me when they got promoted to the Premier League and that's a great honour. I just hope I can play a part in trying to help the team stay up.
"It was disappointing last season at Newcastle, I've been a supporter my whole life and to to be involved in a campaign like that which took the club down was disappointing.
"Hopefully they can bounce straight back, but I'm focused on keeping Burnley in the Premier League and hopefully I can play a big part in that.
"I can't wait to get started now, just to be back in the Premier League and have a chance to play is fantastic."

Edgar met his team-mates for the first time on Thursday as the squad reported back for pre-season training at Gawthorpe and he admitted it was one of the toughest sessions he has ever experienced!
"It was one of my toughest first days in pre-season, but you've just got to get it done and look forward to the season starting," added Edgar.
"You tend to get into the frame of mind that you will be eased into things on the first day, but not today, that was different from what I've experienced before.
"I have played at both right-back and left-back, but I prefer my centre position.
"I'm quite good in the air, I like to be composed on the ball and play it out from the back. I think the way Burnley play suits my style of football quite well.
"Hopefully I can get a few games under my belt before the season starts to impress the fans and hopefully be in that starting eleven.
"I hope some of my family from Canada might be able to get over and see the games in America, I'm looking forward to going over there again.
"I will unfortunately be suspended for the first match away at Stoke, but hopefully I can be involved in our first big home game against Manchester United at Turf Moor."
