Many thanks to the hundreds of fans who turned up at Turf Moor on Friday in good voiced to put their voices on a new club track.

The song, entitled 'Dare to Dream (Mighty Burnley)' was the brainchild of Burnley guitarist Andrew Gilmour and nine-year-old Barlick schoolgirl Jasmine Clarkson, who wrote the song for her late granddad Fred.

The two songwriters approached Burnley Football Club with their idea and this afternoon, over 400 fans young and old - ranging from a five-week-old babe-in-arms to an 87-year-old grandmother - raised the roof by adding backing vocals to the track, which will now be recorded in London early next month.

The club then plans to give the song back to the fans as a free download on the official club website for a limited time.

'Dare to Dream (Mighty Burnley)' will then be sold as a CD in the club shop.

And a video of the song, including the Turf Moor recording, will be available soon to view.
