Danny Ings has been called into the England U21 squad for the forthcoming UEFA Under 21 Championship Qualifiers against Lithuania and Moldova.

The Clarets striker, 22, has made four appearances for the Three Lions prior to this, scoring two goals and will meet up with Gareth Southgate's men on Sunday, August 31 at St George's Park, before taking on Lithuania on 5th September and Moldova on 9th September (kick-off 7pm local time).

Meanwhile, Daniel Lafferty has been called into the Northern Ireland squad for the forthcoming 2016 UEFA European Champsionship qualifier against Hungary.


The 25-year-old defender will join up with Michael O’Neill’s side on Monday 1st September before taking on Hungary six days later on Sunday 7 September at the FTC Groupama Arena in Budapest, kick-off: 6.00pm (local time); 5.00pm (UK time).
