BURNLEY FOOTBALL CLUB / SUPPORTERS' CLUBS / CLARETS TRUST
AIM
To provide a forum for effective dialogue between Burnley Football Club, Supporters' Clubs and the Clarets Trust.
OBJECTIVES
To positively address issues raised by supporters.
To exchange information on issues raised by supporters, from whatever source.
Jointly, to seek satisfactory resolution of such issues.
To identify the most appropriate means to communicate with supporters, on the outcome of those issues raised by supporters.
Jointly, to seek ways to improve facilities for supporters and enhance the spectator experience.
Where appropriate and agreed, to undertake joint activities and events, to promote Burnley Football Club, Supporters' Clubs and the Clarets Trust.
To address any other matters of concern to either Supporters' Clubs, Clarets Trust or the Club.
ADMINISTRATION
The objectives will be achieved through regular scheduled meetings, normally held at six weekly intervals at Burnley Football Club. An agreed schedule of meetings will be circulated.
Agenda items will be submitted by each party and a copy of the agenda circulated in advance of the meeting.
Details of the business of meetings will be recorded in writing, actions agreed and allocated.
Mutual respect will be accorded to all parties involved. All items will be discussed in the strictest confidence and without prejudice. Those matters for publication will be agreed prior to any circulation.
The Supporters' Clubs will be represented by two persons nominated by those organisations. The Clarets Trust will be represented by two members nominated by that organisation.
The Club will be represented by the Stadium Manager and at least one additional Club Official. The Club will arrange for the attendance of the Chairman, Chief Executive, Manager, Safety Officer, Media Officer and other officials as appropriate, in relation to matters to be discussed.
By agreement, other representatives or organisations may be invited to attend depending upon the issues for discussion.
PROCESS MONITORING/REVIEW.
Effectiveness of the Alliance will be reviewed on an annual basis. Any necessary amendments will be agreed and implemented.
